How to get rid of acne?

I have mild acne since I was 15 years old. I thought it will eventually fade away as my mom had acne during her puberty and now she has a clear skin. She too assured me the same. She told her acne fades when she was 25 years old. Now I'm 27 years old and I still suffer from acne. I'm depressed because of this. I have tried many DIY methods but there was no change in my condition. I feel terrible when looking in the mirror. This acne is affecting my self-esteem. One of my aunts suggested undergoing natural beauty treatment from a clinic in Toronto. She said that there are many skin care protocols and it might help me. I'm just tired of trying different techniques to get rid of this acne. What should I do? Should I give it a shot? Are there any other ways to get rid of acne? If so, please share it with me. Thanking in advance!

There are many diy technique like applying apple cider vinegar, making a honey cinnamon pack, applying tea tree oil, applying green tea to your skin, etc.
