How to use Comedone extractor tools?

  • Cleanse your face using lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser. This will make sure that the surface of your face is clear of any bacteria or dirt.
Opening your skin pores will help you extract the blackhead easier. You can open your pores by:
Placing a hot, wet towel over your face for roughly 5 minutes.
    Taking a hot shower.
    Using a facial steamer.
Wash your hand with hand wash or hand sanitizer. Disinfecting your hands is a must as the bacteria present in your hands could come in contact with your face. If you want to go the extra mile you could also use surgical gloves when using the Comedone extractor tool.
Sterilize the blackhead and the Comedone extractor tool.
You can apply a gentle disinfectant to your face to sterilize the skin as you do not want to send in more bacteria.
To sterilize the Comedone extractor tool, you can use rubbing alcohol.
Select the tool that you are going to use.
Place the tool over the blackhead and apply pressure. If you feel like you have applied a good amount of pressure but the blackhead is not budging, try again with a different tool.
If your skin is bleeding, patting the skin using gauze will stop the bleeding immediately.
Once you have successfully removed all the blackheads, disinfect your face and the tool. The extra step that you take towards hygiene will help you stay acne-free.
